A Contents holder asks government to filter DNS query, Japan
One of the biggest publisher in Japan, Kadokawa's CEO (and also CTO of dwango, it runs "Niconico"), Nobuo Kawakami(川上 量生) claimed "To eliminate contents piracy, the Japanese government should filter DNS query except to ISP's DNS server (OP53B - Outbound Port 53 Blocking), and also block public DNS service, especially Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 and Google's 8.8.8.8" at Japanese government Intellectual Property taskforce meeting.
